Its Liam and Andre's invasion.. They are my nephews from my cousins, these little guys just sooo adorable and cute..
I always say that in the future they will be such a hard heartbreaker..

time flies too fast because it feels like yesterday my cousins came to play or came to tell how life in their campus life or introducing their new boyf or girlf, and baangg they're suddenly married, and baangg they're now have really cute kids..  :)

So, our big family decided to eat lunch at a new restaurant near my house that just opened about 10 days ago.. Its name is Pondok Kemangi (its become silly if I have to translate the name into English : Basil Cottage. hahahaaa).

Pondok Kemangi specialized in sundanese food.. for you who don't know, the local people living in West Java are called Sundanese. Sundanese people love spicy food a lot, they add sambal as much as possible, they love to eat vegetables a lot. Sometimes they even eat raw vegetables (called lalap or lalapan) like cucumbers, tomatoes, coriander leaves, eggplants, cabbages, lettuces, and so on. Lalapan is usually accompanied by sambal. There're still many Sundanese food types that I cant tell one by one, one thing for sure is a MUST to try Sundanese food..

Pondok Kemangi has a really spacious place and divided by indoor or outdoor.

decor indoor and outdoor

don't have many order's photos because we are all extremely hungry and I feel bad if I have to hold every food that we order to take the picture first..
so here's some food that we ordered:

left to the right
Cumi Goreng Tepung, Sambal Tempe Penyet, Srimping Saus Tiram

Cumi Goreng Tepung
squid that wrapped with flour and fried until crispy and served with chili sauce.. yummeeehh,, its my favorite order when I eat at seafood restaurant.

Sambal Tempe Penyet
grilled tempeh that crushed and served with spicy sambal..

Srimping (scallop) Saus Tiram
scallops cooked with oyster sauce, tasty but also sweet in the same time

SAMBAL
in Pondok Kemangi there're many kinds of sambal that you can take whatever you want, and its free and you can refill anywime you want, because they provide us a special place that contains variety of sambals like sambal mangga ( sambal with manggo), sambal terasi, or any other sambal.

Cumi Bakar ( Grilled Squid)
Its chewy but you can eat easily and taste sweet. I'm feeling more javanese taste that sundanese in this food..  but still perfetto :D

Kepiting Soka Goreng Crispy ( Fried Soft Shelled Crab)
well enough said, taste perfectly delicious because the crispy soft crab, I cant describe, its just yummeeehhh... the crispy melted in your mouth.. nom nom nom

Tumis Genjer Belacan ( Stir-fry Genjer with Spicy Belacan Sauce)
genjer in international : limnocharissawah-flower rushsawah-lettucevelvetleafyellow bur-head, or cebolla de chucho

Gurame Bakar (Grilled Gourami)
Gourami fish fry first, then grilled on charcoal with sweet soy sauce on the outer layer.. and also served with spicy sambal.

above is only a small list of food that we ordered from the actual order, but the most important thing that you should eat along with these is HOT white rice and eat the food with hand (of course wash your hand before)..

I don't know about the price because it's all on my dad, but it must be not that expensive because its a family resto...

should sleep now, I have a morning class tomorrow.. adiosssssssss

cant believe its monday already
